Kim started to do ceramics, self-taught, during Lockdown 1 in 2020 and, not being familiar with the different types of clay materials, she developed her practice with Parian ware.  This is a type of self-glazing biscuit porcelain which imitates marble.

Highlights in Kim's ceramic practice are having work accepted at The Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 2023 and being featured in the current March/April 2024 edition of Ceramic Review.

Feedback on her assessment submissions included that Kim "has a clear mastery of her materials" and "her work shows great imagination, especially her figurative pieces".  I am certain you will be in agreement with those words, when you look at the attached images and see more of Kim's work on her website and social media postings.
